Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram organised an interschool competition Think Summit on the 26 November 2022. Students from The Indian School participated in a series of events which focused on innovation and thinking. The competition aimed at encouraging students to find creative approaches to problem solving.
It was a golden opportunity for seven of our students, namely Ayaan Nath (XC), Animesh Verma and Jayant V. Bansal (XD), Zavaibah Akhter (XE), Anthariksh Nair (XI B), Manya Arora (XI C), Harleen Kaur and Reeba Khan (XII B) and Vridhi (XII D), to showcase their talent.

Bansal (XD) and Zavaibah Akhter (XE)received the Best Presentation award for their self designed model of an aquatic robot. The model was named VAFED (Volcanic Ash Filter and Eruption Detector) by the young innovators. Replete with features like lidar sensors, a cylindrical generator and an R.O. filter, among many other, the model prepared by our students was a marvel of an invention! This exposure helped the students to challenge their cognitive skills.
It was a day well spent in the company of bright luminous minds from schools across Delhi NCR. A lot of brain storming and exchange of ideas made for a fascinating day out!
