Top honours at INSPIRE ( DST) awards

Inspire Awards MANAK is an initiative to foster a culture of creative and innovative thinking amongst school children. This endeavor is an attempt to address societal needs through Science and Technology by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

It is a proud moment for us at the Indian School that in the session 2017-18, Shrey Gogia and Siddaqdeep Singh of class 10 and Aayushi Verma of class 11, were the proud recipients of a cash prize of Rs 10,000/- in the subcategory of Make in India .

This award is meant to encourage young bright minds to make practical models based on their creative and innovative ideas.

Our students displayed commendable thought and effort as they came up with models that were extremely imaginative, well-designed and productive.

Aayushis concept was based on the conversion of sound energy to electrical energy. Shreys brainchild is a sensor based aid for the visually impaired. Sidaqdeeps conception of a Bluetooth burner will be of immense help to the physically challenged.

These models will be exhibited at the upcoming state level exhibition.
