On 27 September, 2017 students of class XIB attended Open Day at the Central Road Research Institute on Mathura Road. Students from various schools and engineering institutes were also present on the occasion.
The visitors were taken on a guided tour of the institute to glimpse the areas of research and field work.The different areas that were covered were: Road safety, the on-site pollution monitoring unit, soil nailing technology, road survey, simulated driver training, road laying techniques, bridge safety and survey.
[gallery link="file" order="DESC"]Students were also given a broad orientation of the pioneering work being done. The scientists involved in the various fields explained their work and even implored students to consider the field for a career.
It was an enlightening and enjoyable day.
