A curated walk through their exhibits offered by Delhi Art Gallery was another great learning experience for the students as they were introduced to the history of art in India. The gallery was divided into nine categories: Pre-moderns showcasing the Early Bengal artists, Kalighat Pat and the company school; the Bengal School featuring Gaganendranath Tagore, Jamini Roy and others; the Progressives group and Modernism.
The visit was a great experience for students inclined to art as a possible career choice as it offered a very generous representation of the subject in a single location.
