Workshop for students on the GOD PARTICLE

On 4th August 2017, the science students of classes 11 and 12 went to attend a workshop at the NCU Auditorium on the topic, Discovery of the Higgs Boson Particle, popularly known to all as the God Particle.The workshop was conducted by Ashoka University in collaboration with the CERN institute and the LifeLab Foundation.

It was an enlightening experience for the students, who were introduced to events leading to the discovery of the much sought after 'God Particle', with its implications for mankind. The workshop culminated with the students being given a live virtual tour of the CERN faculty in Geneva, responsible for conducting the 40 year long experiment and then being credited for finally discovering it.
