A team of talented artists under the guidance of their teacher, Ms Parul Singh, organised an art and craft workshop for the students of classes 1 and 2 at the MCD School in Sadiq Nagar on 30 November 2019. The two hour workshop was held in the classes and the topic for the day was ‘Circle’.
The students of class VIII E who conducted the workshop were Soumya Jain, Cheerayu Saha, Kirtida Aggarwal, Mannat and Prayota Chakravorty.
The students introduced the geometrical shape and taught them different crafts relating to the shape. The children were provided references and art material to give shape to their artistic cravings. Their efforts threw up interesting displays of two-dimensional and three dimensional art work.
The students and teachers were exposed to varied styles of art forms and gained a memorable hands’-on experience. The School looks forward to similar engaging and encouraging sessions for its nascent aspirants.
