Citizenship Programme participates in the PHD Chamber Swachha Paryavaran campaign

On 10 February, 2017, students of the Citizenship Programme participated in the School street play and flash mob at the DLF Promenade Mall from 4 to 6 pm.
The subject was creating awareness on saving the environment and students presented a nukkad natak and a flash mob dance with effective and attractive messages for the audience. There was also a signature campaign and a recycling awareness through a selfie booth. A collection drive for waste was also undertaken.

These activities are supported by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, the knowledge partners being UNESCO and UNIC who also provided active participation during the campaign.

40 students and teachers including Ms. Sangeeta Aswani and Dr. Anu Singh reached the mall. Parents of the students also joined to motivate the children. On popular demand, the children performed the nukkad natak and the flash mob on the preservation of the environment twice to a cheering audience!
