Following our yearly tradition for Earth Day, on 21 April, 2016, we collected paper bags from BIKANER SWEETS, PREM SERVICE STATION and COMMONWEALTH STORES,
for the children to decorate and paint with slogans and pictures relevant for the occasion. The students of PS to Class 5 participated in this project. Once the bags were complete,
Ms. Aswani along with the Citizenship Council went to return the bags to the same shops requesting that they distribute these when they sell their merchandise on Earth Day.
Our association with these stores goes back 3 years and they eagerly wait for us to decorate their bags! In fact,
Commonwealth Stores uses the finished bags to decorate his shop and create awareness among his customers!
Approximately 1,000 bags were decorated this year.
