Fashion today is getting assimilated in several facets of our lifestyles. Not surprisingly, then, Fashion Studies has become a popular choice of optional subject at our School at class 11 and 12 levels. It's simple yet powerful aim is to encourage students to seize the opportunities that one of the top ten industries, namely Fashion throws up.

On 22 December, 2011, a senior team from L'institut Suprieur des Arts Appliqus (LISAA), the first French Design School in India based in Gurgaon, visited our school to address students of class 11 (Commerce and Humanities) alongwith the School counsellor, the Fashion Studies' teacher and the art teacher. We met in the multi-media room and the team comprehensively presented the prospects of pursuing Fashion Studies at the graduate level. The students were informed that course content and faculty at the institute in Gurgaon is overseen by LISAA, France. The faculty is an international one the Board has associates from amongst Louis Vuitton, Vitra, Hermes and Alstom to name a few European design leaders. Prospective students would need to pass a LISAA Aptitude test and show atleast 10 specimens of their work as a part of a portfolio for submission.
