Annual Adventure Camp at School Eco Park for classes III to V

The annual adventure camp at the School Eco Park, held on 20 March 2025, proved to be an exceptionally enriching experience for the students of classes III to V. With the primary aim of providing hands'-on learning opportunities in a natural environment, the camp succeeded in fostering teamwork, discipline, and personal growth among the participants. The overarching goal of organising this camp was to allow students to immerse themselves in nature and explore their adventurous side.

143 students eagerly boarded the buses at School, accompanied by 15 teachers. Refreshments were provided to the students on the one-and-a-half-hour journey to the campsite. Upon arrival, the air buzzed with excitement, setting the stage for a series of exhilarating activities.

The camp was facilitated by a team of highly trained professionals for activities like commando net, tunnel climbing wall, artificial river crossing, Burma bridge, commando crawl and many more. From the rush of rock climbing to the excitement of zip lining, each activity not only sharpened new skills but also deepened the students' appreciation for the rural landscape.

As they navigated challenges and overcame obstacles, the students gained invaluable lessons in perseverance and teamwork. Immersed in the peacefulness of the countryside, far from the distractions of modern life, they found peace in reconnecting with nature, nurturing their mental well-being and emotional growth.

After their exciting activities, a scrumptious meal awaited the young adventurers, featuring a mouth-watering spread of rajma rice, matar paneer, aloo gobhi with puri, fresh salad, and gulab jamuns, which delighted both students and teachers alike.

The camp perfectly aligned with the School's ethos of experiential learning, enriching the curriculum with real-world encounters that went beyond traditional boundaries. Above all, it fostered a strong sense of environmental stewardship, emphasising the importance of protecting and preserving nature.

The adventure camp was a transformative journey, providing our students with unparalleled opportunities for growth and exploration. As they returned to School, they carried bags of freshly picked produce from the farm such as brinjal, potatoes, spinach, beetroot, carrots, cabbage and many more vegetables. Their excited chatter was a clear reflection of the lasting impact of this enriching experience.
