Classes 9 and 11 visit the NEP 2020 Exhibition

The Ministry of Education, Government of India, commemorated the 3rd anniversary of the launch of NEP 2020. On this occasion, an exhibition at ITPO, Pragati Maidan, showcased the best practices adopted for implementing NEP 2020 by schools and higher as well as skill education sectors. The exhibition was organised for students, teachers, and parents. The event was attended by hundreds of stakeholders who lent joie de vivre to the mass gathering.

Thirty-five students from classes IX and XI visited the exhibition on Sunday, 30 July 2023. They were escorted by senior teachers, Ms Deepa Chugh and Ms Alka Kanwar.

The event brought together prominent educators, policymakers, scholars, and stakeholders across the country to celebrate the achievements and milestones of NEP 2020. There were platforms showcasing the extraordinary achievements of NEP 2020, highlighting activities incorporated to better understand the content.

Attendees had the opportunity to witness firsthand the tangible outcomes of this policy in various educational institutions and systems. The event featured presentations, exhibitions, and interactive sessions where educators and students shared their success stories, highlighting how NEP 2020 has empowered them to explore new avenues of learning and growth.

Various stalls related to AI, science, the Atal Tinkering Lab, and Math showcased various interactive activities like solar autos, speaking plants, etc.

At the exhibition, students presented projects: models of solar power energy, space satellites, hydroelectric generators, talking trees, AC and DC motors, automatic transformers, and robots. The students also organised visual presentations to help everyone better understand the concepts of their working models. Models relating to space satellites, the different satellites of the planets, the various galaxies, DNA, Optical Phenomena, Reflection, and Refraction were on display.

Mathematical models based on the concept of Polyhedrons, Coordinate Geometry, circles, triangles, 3-D solid shapes, puzzles, and abacus were also displayed to build different Math skills and show the interconnection and interdependency of the other subjects with mathematics.

The exhibition provided a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences, and best practices, fostering a collaborative spirit that strengthens the education ecosystem in the country.

For educators and students alike, the third anniversary of the NEP 2020 event served as an opportunity to gain inspiration and motivation to continue the journey towards educational excellence.

Overall, it was a great learning experience for the students, and they were inspired to initiate the various school activities and even use them in their annual school exhibits.
