"Dont' Forget to Remember..." ( Bee Gees)

"Dont' Forget to Remember..." ( Bee Gees) While the morning's Blessing Ceremony was all about poise and preparedness for the future, the atmosphere in the afternoon on 25 January was transformed! Gaiety, free-spiritedness and nostalgia filled the air as students of class 11 laid out a specially planned event for their departing seniors. Food, photos and feeling flowed in copious quantities. Music, dance and stand-up comedies were inter-spaced with carefully appointed 'titles' for each of the Stars of the afternoon. The highlight, undoubtedly, was a video of teachers sharing their remembrances of their beloved pupils who had passed their able hands over the years. The memories were many and the spontaneity brought a surfeit of similar sentiment amongst the students and their teachers equally. A flood of photos were taken to carefully frame the treasured moments with teachers, peers and juniors. Not to forget room after room that had so easily embraced, as home away from home year after year. When the students finally stepped out of the School gate, the scene could well have made a philosopher 's delight. The lingering gaze as if for one last time, the faces so tantalised by the pangs of parting. And soon they were past and upon the edge of the road outside. It's chaotic traffic perhaps aptly symbolic of what awaits outside.
