Independence Day Quiz in Pre school
Little minds are stimulated, and learning is encouraged by quiz. In addition to the evident academic gains, it fosters teamwork and raises the students' self-esteem.
To commemorate the 78th anniversary of India's independence, the Pre School held a quiz on August 14, 2024. The goal of the exercise was to foster learning about our country. Team Kokab, Team Capella, Team Delphini, Team Hercule and Team Agena were the five teams who participated with two participants in each team. Haroop Kaur Bakshi and Yuvaan Verma of PS Kokab, Rudra Veer Solanki and Vanie Arora of PS Capella, Mayank Goel and Arjan Vir Singh of PS Delphini, Amyra Khan and Sachkirat Singh of PS Hercule, Saaransh and Advika Nishad of PS Agena were the enthusiastic little participants.
The quiz was divided into three sections. The first section tested the knowledge of our national symbols. The children demonstrated their understanding by responding promptly. To encourage active involvement, each correct answer was presented a smiley! In the second round, the participants were to guess the answer from flash cards. In the last round, the Pre schoolers showcased their artistic abilities at decorating the tricolour.
To everyone's great amazement all the teams secured the same points, so the quiz concluded as a tie and all the teams were named winners.
The audience also participated in a quiz, where they were presented with rewards for answering the questions correctly
Ms Vandana Tiwari, Head Teacher- Primary recognised the participants' efforts and innovativeness by awarding stars to the winning team.
In conclusion, the quiz was instrumental in providing a snapshot of the Pre schoolers' progress and contributed to enhancing their learning experience. Continued observation and adjustment based on the findings will help achieve optimal learning outcomes for all the children involved.
