On 11th November 2016, the Laxman Public School, New Delhi organised The Laxman Memorial Inter school Competition. The event is an annual feature and consists of a series of competitions including English poetry recitation, Sanskrit shloka recitation, painting and a science quiz.
Our teacher, Ms. Vidusha Sharma accompanied six children from our School to participate in the Sanskrit shloka and English poetry events. Anushna Thacker (VIII), Avantika Chodha (X) and Ekveer Sahoo (V) participated in the English Recitation while Isha Sharma (IX), Pratham Goel (IV) and Disha Deb (VII) took part in the Sanskrit Shloka Recitation.
Some other participating schools were Delhi Public School, R K Puram and Mathura Road, Army Public School, Bluebells International School, Cambridge School, Tagore International School and Indraprastha School.
