Janmashtami in Pre-School Hercule
Govinda ala re ala
Baal rup hai sabko bhata
Makhaan chor hai kehlaata
Aala aala Govinda aala
Pre-School Hercule organised a special assembly on Wednesday, August 24th 2016 in the squash court area, as a celebration of this important festival. The area was decorated with matki craft prepared by our little ones who
came adorably dressed as little Krishnas and Radhas.
Arjun Tara began the assembly with a short introduction, Janmashtami is the celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna. He is known to love eating butter and playing the flute.

The little Radhas then presented a dance to the folksong, Choti Choti Gaiya about a little cowherd boy (Krishna) and his love for gaiya (cows).
Next, the young Krishnas stole everyones hearts with the bhajan Achutum Keshwaram, whilst Aaradhya Saluja danced as Radha and Vardaan Singh, as Krishna entreated her with his melodious flute.
Later, the class teacher told the children tales of Krishna which delighted them. The assembly area rang out with shrill laughter as the children heard the antics of Bal Krishna!
As they slowly filed out, they saw the profusion of festival craft created by then on display. One couldnt help but notice their little chests swell up with pride as they walked past objects they had created themselves!
