Special Assembly on Dussehra by Pre school Agena
Keeping the festive spirit alive, the Pre-Primary wing observed Dussehra on 16 October, 2018. As we know it signifies a triumph of truth over evil- a universal value so invaluable for the children. It is observed in diverse ways across the country but the value is just the same.
On the occasion, a special assembly was presented by Pre-School Agena for their peers of the Pre primary. By turn students came up on stage to speak a few sentences on the significance of the festival. They slowly but carefully explained how it is celebrated in the different parts of our country.
This was followed by a short song and dance presentation of the rescue of Sita who was held captive by Ravan in Lanka, by Hanuman. The children played their parts in costume. They were a picture of poise and enacted their roles to perfection! The dancers were delightful too, colourful in their ethnic attire.
