The Times of India Litfest
The 2nd Edition of The Times of India Litfest was held on 26th and 27th November 2016 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
At the inaugural ceremony, the logo for the two day long fest was unveiled by chief guest, Mr. Najeeb Jung, Lt. Governor of Delhi. There was an interactive session with him on the topic- India at 70. The chief guest spoke on aspects such as illiteracy, education, gender equality, development and infrastructure.

The next session was with Ruskin Bond, who was awarded a lifetime achievement award. He spoke about his childhood, passions and how he started writing. He also spoke about his experiences till date and how he missed being in India while living abroad. Mr. Bond commented on the evolving
nature of literature. All of this ended interestingly with a rapid fire round during which Mr. Bond went candid!
Both events were a delight to attend.
