Top honours at Inter-school Aero-modelling Competition 2016 held at IIT-Delhi.

Aero-modelling is a creative hobby which encourages young aspirants to think laterally. It is a hobby where a child learns the basics of flying through the act of designing, building and flying model airplanes, helicopters and rockets.

India's Hobby Shack (IHS) organised an Inter-school Aero-modelling Competition at IIT Delhi on 3rd December 2016. Students in the age group of 8 to 17 years from around 150 schools across the country participated in this aircraft- making activity. Maj. Gen Sunil Kumar, ADG (NCC) graced the occasion as chief guest and shared valuable inputs on aero-modelling as well as career opportunities in aeronautical engineering and aviation.
