Mr. Chawla talked to us first about the various fields of study in classes 11 and 12. He then elaborated upon a range of career choices in humanities, science and commerce. For each career, he provided us with a job description. He told us the kind of personality that fits particular professions. He went on to tell us about various graduate and post-graduate courses and named a few institutions that offer them.

The students were spoke to on study skills. Mr. Chawla shared with us the importance of developing the willpower to spend more time studying. He highlighted various methods and techniques that can help students learn more efficiently.

The workshop also included a representative from IMS, a centre that trains students for entrance examinations. The session also provided an excellent opportunity for students to know more about foreign universities and their admission procedures.

The workshop concluded with a question-answer session. Mr. Chawla helped by sharing knowledge on a variety of diverse fields from drama and theatre to law and politics.

It was an insightful experience to attend this talk and extend our horizons in our immediately pressing concern, namely, higher studies. Mr. Chawla's humorous inserts made the exercise very enjoyable as well.
