CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition

The Indian School participated in the CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition, based on the theme Scientific Solutions for Challenges in Life held at ASN School, Mayur Vihar

on 24 and 25 January 2019. 58 schools from across Delhi-NCR participated in the mega exposition. The team of four from our School was accompanied by their physics teacher, Ms Yogeshwari.

CBSE Director ( Academics) Dr. Joseph Emmanuel inaugurated the exhibition. The felicitation of the chief guest and the judges was followed by a spectacular and befitting cultural show.

The event saw young brilliant minds exhibit an impressive array of 94 displays consisting of innovative working models and investigatory projects.

Our students, Dhruv Sharma (X-B) and Karan Gupta(X-D) exhibited a model of Way Sensing Segway under the sub-theme Transport and Communication. The project aimed at building low-cost automatic transportation for easy manoeuvring. Harmanjot and Farzeen of standard VIII showcased an Electric Bike which demonstrated a mode of low-cost transportation which also reduces environmental pollution.

All the exhibits displayed showed a good degree of innovation and research. A panel of six eminent judges from varied fields shortlisted 17 exhibits for the national level on the basis of creativity/imagination, originality, scientific approach and craftsmanship, the utility for society, economic, presentation, and etcetera.

The exhibition was a great learning experience and a source of ideas for emergent minds.
