The event commenced on an enthusiastic note when students from the different sections arrived at the venue dressed up as different characters. Before the performance, the teachers provided an interactive briefing about the role of community helpers. They encouraged the students to recognise and appreciate their dedication and contribution to society. During the briefing, they engaged the students by asking questions about the roles of various community helpers. The students responded enthusiastically and showcased their understanding of these vital professions.
The students then took turns to step on stage and present their chosen community helper. Each participant spoke a few lines explaining the role played by their characters in their daily lives. The performances truly captured the essence of the community workers they represented. The audience was captivated by the sheer confidence and eloquence as the children portrayed the roles of nurses, firefighters, tailors and delivery boys.
The show was a profound learning experience for both, the participants and the audience. The event served as a poignant reminder to appreciate the diverse range of professions who tirelessly work for the welfare of others. These events foster the values of kindness, cooperation and social consciousness among the students. Overall, the event was a great success and turned out to be a meaningful and enriching session for the students.
