"Nature is the best teacher, and the more we connect with it, the more we learn."
To strengthen the bond between children and nature, a delightful and educational trip to the School eco park was organised for class 6 on 18th February, 2025. 94 students, accompanied by their teachers, participated in this enriching experience.
The journey began as we boarded the bus at School, filled with excitement and curiosity. Upon reaching the park, we were welcomed by its fresh and natural beauty. The caretaker walked the students through the fields, showing us how vegetables arr sown, and nurtured organically. The children also got a precious chance to handpick fresh produce, chiefly, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, coriander and brinjal, to carry home.
Beyond learning, the trip was also about bonding. A friendly game of volleyball between the students and teachers added to the fun, fostering teamwork and strengthening relationships. The farm animals were so a special treat to pet.
As the day concluded, we boarded the bus back to School, carrying with us wonderful memories, a deeper appreciation for nature, and a renewed enthusiasm for sustainable living. This trip was not just an outing but a meaningful step toward connecting young minds with the beauty and wisdom of nature.
