Class 7 visits the School eco park

On 29 January 2026, 51 students of class VII, accompanied by two teachers, visited the School eco park for a unique learning experience that beautifully combined science and nature. The park follows  organic and natural farming methods, growing vegetables without the use of chemicals or fertilisers. The students observed how fresh produce like radish, spinach, fenugreek and carrots are cultivated in a healthy and sustainable way.

The students also explored the working models installed at the park such as the crystal structure of NaCl, the DNA model, Newton’s Disc, optical illusion, conservation of energy, mass and inertia, spherical mirrors, angular momentum, and the parabolic reflector. The teachers explained each model to the students, encouraging the students to ask questions and connect theory with real-life applications.

A special highlight was the vegetable-picking activity, where students harvested fresh vegetables and took them home, making the experience both educational and memorable.

The visit helped students understand the importance of organic farming, scientific thinking, and environmental responsibility, truly reflecting the spirit of experiential learning.
