Classes 4 and 5 learn about Hygiene and Good Personal Habits from a Doctor

On the occasion of National Doctor's Day, an enlightening workshop on personal hygiene and healthy habits was conducted by Dr Shubham Roy on 1st July 2024. This workshop aimed at educating the students of classes 4 and 5 about the importance of maintaining personal hygiene and developing healthy habits.

The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation by both the students and the teachers, making it a resounding success. The workshop was attended by a notable number of teachers of Primary. Their presence was instrumental facilitating the interactive session with the students.

The workshop began with a warm welcome by Ms Vandana Tiwari, Head Teacher- Primary. She highlighted the significance of National Doctor's Day and expressed her gratitude to Dr Shubham Roy for making the time to educate the young minds. Her address set a positive tone for the event, emphasising the critical role of personal hygiene and healthy habits in ensuring overall well being

Dr Roy commenced the session by addressing the fundamental topic of personal hygiene. She explained the various aspects of maintaining cleanliness and the direct impact it has on health. 

Moving on from personal hygiene, Dr Roy delved into healthy habits that students should incorporate in their daily routines. She talked about the frequency of bathing and its benefits, the use of soap and shampoo for cleanliness and the importance of keeping nails trimmed and clean. She reiterated the importance of washing hands to prevent the spread of germs.

At the end of the session, Ms Vandana Tiwari, presented the guest with a token of appreciation on behalf of School. Through this informative session, the students gained a clearer understanding of the importance of personal hygiene and how to incorporate these habits into the daily routine.
