Classes 5,6 and7 take lessons in sustainability at the School eco park

“When learning meets nature, creativity blossoms and young minds discover that even the smallest act can nurture a greener tomorrow.”

Learning took a refreshing turn beyond the classroom  on November 28, 2025 when the students of classes V, VI, and VII set out on an enriching educational excursion to the School Eco Park. The visit was thoughtfully planned to bring the children closer to nature while nurturing creativity, teamwork, and environmental consciousness.

Amidst the serene beauty of lush green surroundings, the students immersed themselves in the simplicity and wisdom of sustainable living. The highlight of the day was the engaging and imaginative “Best Out of Waste” activity. With curious minds and eager hands, students collected natural and discarded materials from around the farm and transformed them into remarkable pieces of art.

Guided by the teachers, the young learners enthusiastically explored their creativity, designing innovative models using sustainable and randomly found articles at the Park. The activity not only showcased their artistic expression but also reinforced an important life lesson — the value of reducing, reusing, and recycling for a healthier planet.

The excursion beautifully blended art, environmental awareness, and experiential learning. The students returned with smiling faces, treasured memories, and a deeper appreciation for how small, thoughtful actions can make a meaningful difference in building a sustainable future.

Such enriching outdoor experiences continue to inspire The Indian School learners to grow as responsible, creative, and environmentally conscious individuals.
