The quiz was a first of its kind to be held at our School. The participants were very enthusiastic and excited. The organisers had also put up banners and handed badges to the students.

The Quiz Master was Adittya Nath Mubayi, a BBC mastermind semi-finalist. He has also worked as Research Head for Kaun Banega Crorepati and was once the star quizzer of Delhi's St. Columba's School.

The preliminary round consisted of 20 questions, which were MCQs, general questions as well as visual questions. While the DK team tabulated the results, students were introduced to the varied resources that DK provides, including the interesting DK Find Out! site, which helps students with their assignments, the DK apps and a plethora of colourful reference books to make learning a fun process.

Everyone was on the edge of their seats as the participants closely competed against each other for the first prize! Kriti Bajaj and Atharv Vashisto were the winners and will now represent our School at the zonal level of the DK Quiz. Kartik Anand and Abdullah were the runners-up.

Saruby Sharma offered a vote of thanks as every student received a participation certificate and the top six teams were handed certificates of merit.

The quiz was very interesting and innovative. Quizzing is no longer what it used to be. Its much more than a hobby and these quizzes help students to truly enrich their intellects.
