Festive floral rangoli by the Pre-primary department.
The Pre-primary of our School organised floral rangoli to mark the occasion of Ekta Diwas on 31 October, 2014. All the students and teachers of the pre-primary section got together for the creative effort, as a spontaneous representation of unity or 'ekta'.
The children assembled rose and marigold and Ashok leaves. They carefully took apart the petals and began to fill in the patterns spread on the floor created by their teachers, Ms.Yashika and Ms. Aditi.

Soon the class rooms were filled with the soft fragrance of fresh blossoms. The teachers fondly facilitated the children as they attempted to fill in the rangoli designs with the petals, ensuring that they kept well within the boundaries! Motor control seemed duly exercised!
Two rangolis emerged, one by Pre-School and the other by the Pre-Primary. It was an effort of well-knit creativity and affection.
Undoubtedly numerous hands coordinated to create a candid canvas.
As told by Ms. Divyani Sharma.
