On 20th August 2018, a two day workshop was organized for teachers teaching Hindi to students of class 10 by CBSE Centre for Excellence Delhi at Kalka Public School. Smt. Kaumudi Sharma and Dr. Anuradha ( HOD and Coordinator- Sardar Patel Vidyalaya) were the key speakers.
Many reputed schools of Delhi participated in the workshop. Dr. Shikha Sharma and Ms. Kajal Soni attended this workshop.
The two day workshop was divided into 8 sessions. On the first day, discussion was held on topics such as the role of teachers, Blooms Taxonomy, daily, monthly and yearly planners and common grammatical errors made by students.
[gallery link="file" order="DESC"]On the second day, discussion was held on aspects of teaching prose, poetry, grammar, unseen passages etc. Updates were provided on revised formats of letter, notice and advertisement- writing. Various activities were also held during the sessions. Teachers were taught techniques of making the subject interesting for students.
Overall, the workshop was very interesting and was an enriching experience for all the participants.
