Middle School visits the World Book Fair

School organised an enriching educational excursion to the World Book Fair held at Bharat Mandapam for the students of Classes VI and VII. On 16 January 2026, a group of 88 enthusiastic students, accompanied by 3 teachers, embarked on this inspiring literary journey.
The primary objective of the visit was to nurture reading habits, broaden literary awareness, and introduce students to the vast and fascinating world of books. The fair offered a vibrant and stimulating environment where students eagerly explored numerous stalls displaying an impressive collection of fiction, non-fiction, academic, cultural, and scientific literature. Their interaction with publishers and exhibitors provided valuable insights into the creative process of writing, publishing, and book production.
The visit turned out to be both educational and enjoyable. The colourful displays, diverse genres, and lively atmosphere ignited students’ curiosity and deepened their love for reading. Many students discovered new authors, explored different themes, and developed a renewed interest in independent learning.
