Peer Teaching in Class XI Commerce.
Business Studies students enjoyed themselves thoroughly on December 23, 2013 when they got a much sought opportunity to learn the way they like the most, i.e., through their friends.
Ojasvi Jain, Sana Gogia and Lizza Sadh of class XI, Commerce presented before their classmates an interesting roleplay to explain the utility of non- banking financial institutions in India. They used visual aids like charts to discuss examples, typesmand the role of NBFIs.
Ashi Sadh, Kanika Bhatia and Akanksha Vashisht took upon themselves the task of teaching the topic Mutual Funds. They prepared a powerpoint presentation using the smart board. They explained the structure of mutual funds, their history in India, their merits and limitations. They showed charts as well.
It was an interesting experience for not only the speakers but also their fellow students, who enjoyed interacting with their peers freely. They asked several questions on the topics and uninhibitedly debated and discussed.
It seems thatmwencan look forward Tomsome innovative and creative learning experiences by students in the coming week too.
