Pre primary Vega class assembly tiltled Life on Land

On 13 September 2024, the young and spirited students of Pre Primary Vega took the spotlight with a delightful assembly themed "Life on Land". This vibrant and educational presentation beautifully showcased the interconnectedness of plants, animals, and birds, emphasising their crucial roles in sustaining the balance of our ecosystem.

The event opened with a stunning backdrop of the “Harmony Forest”, brought to life by colourful props and the lively performances of the young learners. Dressed in headgear and props representing trees, flowers, animals, and birds, the children delivered a heart-warming performance, creatively illustrating the interdependence of all living creatures.

Vritant and Kanak warmly welcomed the audience, setting the tone for the assembly. Dev and Lavyansh, portraying trees, highlighted how trees offer essential resources like air, fruits, and shelter. Meanwhile, Kiyansh and Aahan embodied animals, drawing attention to the vital role animals play in protecting forests. Aruhi captivated the crowd with her poem, “Trees, Our Friends,” shedding light on the importance of trees in sustaining the environment.

The spotlight then shifted to the animal characters, each showcasing their unique traits and habitats. Zayan, as the Lion, roared with pride, displaying the strength and majesty of the jungle’s king, while his fluffy mane added to his charm. Mohd. Ahil, the playful Monkey, humorously discussed his love for bananas with funny expressions that had the audience laughing. Devaansh, as the Elephant, demonstrated his power, describing how he uses his long trunk to eat and drink. Rishika, the swift Rabbit, hopped onto the stage, sharing her love for carrots and her soft, furry coat. Pavnee, the buzzing Bumblebee, gracefully searched for honey, captivating the audience with her delicate movements. Mohd. Rohaan, portraying the Bear, made a bold appearance, showcasing his strong paws and expressing his fondness for honey and cosy naps in his cave.

The assembly continued with an energetic song and dance performance celebrating nature and environmental protection, creating a joyful and engaging atmosphere. The event concluded with a meaningful message from Head Teacher- Primary, Ms Vandana Tewari, who urged everyone to take responsibility for protecting the environment, reminding us that the future of our planet is in our hands.
