Pre school Quiz on the Rainy Season

"Rainy days are perfect for quizzes that spark creativity and knowledge, where every drop of learning counts."

A fun and educational quiz on the rainy season was held on 10th July, 2024 for our young Pre schoolers. The event aimed to engage our budding Indianites with learning about the various aspects of the rainy season through interactive activities.

Five teams participated in the quiz, each named after an element associated with the rain: Team Rainbow, Team Umbrella, Team Raincoat, Team Clouds and Team Thunder. Each team consisted of two enthusiastic Pre schoolers, making a total of ten participants representing their sections, namely Aavanya Arora, and Pratyush Singh Rajput of PS Kokab, Viraj Dahiya and Ishvika Sharma of PS Capella, Gursanj Kaur and Meharjot Singh of PS Delphini, Trina Rautela, and Devarsh Sabharwal of PS Hercule and Lavanya Singh and Huzaifa Zishaan Olayee of PS Agena. The quiz comprised of three rounds; the first being a lively question and answer session testing the children's knowledge of rain-related elements. The students showcased their learnings by promptly answering! Participants earned a smiley for each correct response, encouraging active participation.

From the audience, Haroop Kaur Bakshi, Takshya Dawar and Amayra Khan correctly answered the questions that stumped their opponents, earning them smileys for rewards. The second round involved assembling a jigsaw puzzle of an Umbrella, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills. The final round allowed the Pre schoolers to unleash their creativity by drawing a rainy day scene. The children expressed their imagination through drawings of raindrops, clouds, and rainy day activities at School.

Head Teacher- Primary Ms Vandana Tiwari, awarded stars to the winning team and the participants, acknowledging their efforts and creativity.

The quiz was not only a fun-filled event but also served as a platform for our Pre schoolers to learn about weather related concepts in an engaging manner. Through teamwork, creativity, and knowledge-sharing, the children actively participated and enjoyed the activities. Such initiatives play a crucial role in early childhood education, fostering curiosity and a love for learning among young minds.
