The entrance featured a visual treat of enchanting art and handicrafts, with items made from paper, plastic, wood, cane, cloth, and more. The children were particularly captivated by the grand display of animal masks adorning the walls. They also observed models of small huts, swings, a well, and a classic village scene, complete with a farmer, a cow and calf, and women drawing water. Cultural graffiti depicting the diverse states of India added a vibrant and educational element to the surroundings.
As animals and birds are universally adored by children, the Pre schoolers were thrilled to visit the Mini Zoo. The children were delighted as they observed a variety of birds, including pigeons, parrots, mynas, cuckoos, and partridges, marvelling at the diversity of wildlife.
Next, the group visited the traffic park on the premises. Their enthusiasm reached new heights as they spontaneously sang the "Traffic Light Song", filling the air with their joyful voices. This delightful moment reinforced important lessons on road safety in a fun and engaging way. The children were briefed on the dos and don'ts of road safety, with special attention given to road signs and traffic lights.
The visit continued with a trip to the Wood Park, a refreshing escape into nature. Surrounded by flora and fauna, the children enjoyed a tranquil walk along the trails, admiring the beauty of the trees and wildlife. The park featured vibrant sculptures made from colourful tiles, adding a playful and imaginative touch. Throughout the park, handcrafted wood art pieces were displayed, showcasing the skill of local artisans and highlighting the beauty of wood as a medium. The park provided a unique outdoor space that inspired creativity and appreciation for nature.
Throughout the visit, the children were accompanied by their teachers, who ensured their safety and well being. The teachers facilitated the experiential learning experience by explaining various aspects of the exhibits and encouraging the children to ask questions.
