A Skype classroom was held for the students of class II B of The Indian School and Ms Gali Lev Ari and her students in Israel on 31 July 2019 at 11am IST. The young learners were delighted to interact with the MIE certified teacher of English and the young Israeli students.
The interface commenced with Jonathan, Or, Vinda and Lee greeting their Indian counterparts with a warm namaste! They followed it up by asking several questions about the language spoken, Indian currency and the prevalent weather conditions.
Most of the Israeli children communicated in English but some spoke in Hebrew which was translated into English by their teacher.
[gallery link="file" columns="2"]The Israelis asked about Indian cuisine and were responded to with an exotic visual presentation. Vihaan, Kabir,Sreyanshi ,Tanishka and Shourya showed flash cards of food items like the dosa, idli, vada pav, pani puri and dhokla to provide mouth-watering glimpses of Indian gastronomical delights!
The Indianites were equally delighted to learn about the culture, the language spoken and the food eaten in Israel.
The interaction helped in building new confidence and broadening the horizon of their young minds.
